How to use Amazon AWS
SES Simple Email Service with MailList Controller

You can use the Amazon Simple Email Service to send email newsletter messages with MailList Controller.

• First setup a SMTP user name and password using SES - see AWS SES Documentation - SMTP Credentials
  
  

The setup in MailList Controller is easy and straightforward:

• List Settings -> Outgoing Messages (SMTP) -> SMTP Server: email-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com
  (Please refer to your SES settings if you have problems)
  
  
  
  
• List Settings -> Outgoing Messages (SMTP) -> Authentication: StartTLS
  
  
• List Settings -> Outgoing Messages (SMTP) -> Uncheck "Same user and password"
  
  
• List Settings -> Outgoing Messages (SMTP) -> Enter the SMTP user name and password as setup in Amazon SES
